F.A.Q.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT POLE FITNESS WORKOUTS

What should I wear to class?

We recommend pole you wear shorts and a tank top to your first few classes. Leggings and any kind of pants will make it hard to grip the pole and create slippage. Lotion is not recommended the day of or the day before for this same reason. We want everyone to feel comfortable but also increase your abilities to have success in class!

You can find “sticky leggings” for sale on Pole Active, Cleo’s, Super Fly Honey, and various pole fitness attire websites. We also recommend Dry Hands for grip which is available on Amazon. You will soon find out grip is your friend!

What class should I be in?

If you have never tried pole before then start with our beginning pole classes. Everyone progresses at different speeds so as you are ready to move up our instructors will sign you off to “level up”. If you have pole experience please contact us so we can talk about where you should be placed, past experience, and current fitness level.

What if I am running late?

Pole fitness requires a proper warm up and stretching before getting onto the pole. We do not allow anyone to join class if they are over 10 minutes late for their safety.

What age is appropriate for pole fitness?

Pole fitness is for all ages. We believe it is a great form of fitness as it combines acrobatics, flexibility, and strength all in one place.

At this time we are not offering kids classes but if the demand is great enough we would love to offer classes! Ages 12 and older are allowed in all the sport classes with a parent or guardian’s permission. For all the classes in heels you must be 18 to attend.
